A Message in the Sky, oil on canvas, 24” x 40,” $1800

This painting was inspired by the celestial conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn on December 21, 2020. What a beautiful sight it was!  This experience was a pivotal moment in the creation of my fairytale, "Elena and the Reindeer Goddess: A Magical Winter Solstice Mission."

The vision of this painting helped me finalize the direction of that story, in which the Reindeer Goddess, a figure found in the myths of various Northern European cultures, returns to our modern world with a mission—a mission to move the consciousness of the people toward one of balance, harmony, beauty, and the interconnectedness of all.
