This painting was inspired by my son and our time living in Greece when he was a boy. He’s a singer/songwriter and wrote a song "Under the Olive Tree" which recounts his impressions and memories of when he was a young boy living with me in Greece.
Olive trees were all around us and the summers were full of swimming. One of the lines in his song is “Bottlecaps and jellyfish wash to the shore.” Can you find them in the painting?
